Whitney Jones Music Presents The 3rd Soulful Soirée at Phoenix Center for the Arts on Oct. 10
Whitney Jones Music presents The 3rd Soulful Soirée on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at the Phoenix Center for the Arts Courtyard — an intimate outdoor evening of Contemporary Jazz and R&B/Soul created around exceptional original live music, connection and intentional hospitality. Performing/Recording artist, Whitney Jones, and her full ensemble bring a fabulous performance that uplifts, inspires and empowers.
Doors open at 4:30 PM, followed by a featured 4:45 PM opening performance from acclaimed tenor saxophonist, Jermaine Lockhart. Joining Whitney and Jermaine on stage will be guitarists Rich Kniss and Marcus Williams, Mel Brown on bass and Ashton Burris on drums.
A Berklee College of Music graduate, vocalist, songwriter, producer and bandleader, Whitney blends the warmth of Soul, the intimacy of R&B and the musicianship of Jazz into every performance. Her single “True Love” has surpassed one million streams, while “Under the Moonlight” reached #1 on the Urban Influencer Smooth Jazz Chart and was named among SmoothJazz.com’s Global Year-End Top 100 songs of 2025. Her career also includes touring with CeCe Peniston, co-writing the Billboard No. 2 Hot Singles hit “Purple Funk,” and becoming the first female bandleader ever to hold a weekly residency at Boston’s historic Wally’s Jazz Cafe.
Soulful Soirée is more than a traditional concert. Guests will experience reserved seating, signature plant-based mocktails and a beautifully designed outdoor courtyard atmosphere designed to bring the audience closer to the music.
