Emmett Till Black History Mural Unveiled in Phoenix on February 26

PhxSoul.com joined community residents and Emmett Till family members at the unveiling of the Emmett Till Black History Mural at Greater Bethel AME Church, 7040 S 40th St, Phoenix, on February 26.

Artist @maggiekeanezart was recognized for the outstanding Emmett Till mural that she created along with her numerous other works that can be found throughout the Valley. She is probably best known for the Prince mural at 15th Ave and Roosevelt Street in Phoenix.

Congratulations to the Shining Light Foundation for coordinating this project. The Shining Light Foundation has established dozens of Black History murals throughout the Valley of the Sun and other cities!
