Build, learn, and meet fellow student developers at SunHacks, a free student-led hackathon at ASU’s Tempe campus from Saturday, November 14, 2026, at 9 AM through Sunday, November 15, at 4 PM MST. Participation is for college and university students. Beginners are welcome, and students without a team will be assigned one.

Participants may stay overnight at the venue. Meals include Saturday lunch, dinner, and a midnight meal, plus Sunday lunch. Students can collaborate on projects and connect with software professionals. SunHacks especially welcomes Black college and university students across the Valley to join the event and connect with Arizona’s technology community.

SunHacks takes place alongside DevFest Phoenix, hosted in partnership with Google Developer Groups on Campus at ASU and GDG Phoenix. SunHacks participants can attend DevFest’s professional-led tech talks and hands-on workshops on Saturday, November 14, from 9 AM to 6 PM. Topics include AI, machine learning, cloud, Android, and software development.

Students attending both events only need to complete the SunHacks registration at https://cglink.me/22J/r413945.
