Harriet’s House invites you to join us for the 3rd Annual Mother’s Day Tea & Brunch: Crowned in Courage – A Celebration of Resilience and Perseverance. This meaningful gathering brings our community together to honor the legacy of Harriet Tubman while celebrating the strength, faith, and determination of women and mothers who carry that spirit forward today.
Featured speaker Ernestine “Tina” Martin Wyatt, the 3x great grandniece of Harriet Tubman, will share reflections on her aunt’s enduring legacy of courage and leadership. We will also be joined by Dr. Janet Welch of Tea Tea & Company, who will guide guests through a special tea experience that highlights the rich tradition and cultural significance of tea.
More than a social gathering, this event raises awareness and mobilizes support for families impacted by incarceration while advancing Harriet’s House’s mission to empower, strengthen, and equip mothers and families to build resilience and brighter futures. We invite you to join us for an afternoon of inspiration, community, and purpose as we honor legacy and invest in stronger families and communities.
