Basketball Hall of famer George “Iceman” Gervin and his sister, Texas State Rep. Barbra D. Hawkins, are the founders of George Gervin Prep Academy (GGPA), a Kindergarten – 8th grade charter school in South Phoenix.

GGPA charter school offers private school quality for free and has space available. GGPA is located at 2801 E. Southern Avenue in the heart of south Phoenix. Children thrive in a small family school environment and can reach their highest potential with caring teachers and staff.
