ASUPROX Music Industry Conference in Downtown Phoenix on April 18-19
Arizona State University will host ASUPROX, the region’s leading music industry conference, April 18–19 at Fusion on First in Downtown Phoenix, convening artists, entrepreneurs, technologists and industry leaders for two days focused on the future of music.
Organized by Arizona State University’s Popular Music Program, the conference explores the growing intersection of music, technology, innovation and business. Through panels, one-on-one mentoring sessions, and networking opportunities, ASUPROX aims to give students, creators and professionals direct access to the ideas and decision-makers shaping the next phase of the music industry.
ASUPROX is the evolution of the university’s Music Industry Career Conference (MICC), an event that has served as a meeting point for aspiring music professionals and industry leaders in the Southwest.
“ASUPROX represents a new era for our music industry programming,” said organizers from the ASU Popular Music Program. “The conference is built on the belief that proximity is power — that bringing artists, innovators, and decision-makers into the same room can spark the collaborations and ideas that shape the future of music.”
The two-day event will take place at Fusion on First, part of ASU’s Downtown Phoenix campus and home to the Pop Music students. ASUPROX is open to students, creatives, and professionals interested in the evolving music and media industries. Additional details on speakers, programming and registration are expected to be announced ahead of the event.
