Black Mothers Forum to Host Jumpstart Enrollment Drive for School to Purpose Academies on Oct. 22-25

The Black Mothers Forum is thrilled to announce the Jumpstart Enrollment Activities for School to Purpose Academies, our innovative microschools which are the solution to ending the school-to-prison pipeline. This month, we are actively seeking to enroll K-8th grade students and invite the community to discover how our academies provide a successful educational experience for our Black children.

Our 2024 NWEA assessment scores for our fifth graders outperformed national and state averages, achieving remarkable results with 67% reading on grade level or above. We look forward to seeing even greater gains after this year’s testing cycle.

At School to Purpose Academies, we are committed to creating a nurturing and empowering environment for Black children. Our proven educational model has resulted in many students performing at two to three grade levels above the national average. Our 8th graders upon graduation are up to 2 grade levels above their peers entering into the 9th grade. Many of our students who have moved back into traditional public schools have experienced much better outcomes academically, behaviorally and socially.
