Lincoln and Booth—brothers abandoned by their parents—navigate the fragile line between love and resentment in a claustrophobic one-room existence. Lincoln, once a master of three-card monte, now impersonates Abraham Lincoln at an arcade for a paycheck, while Booth plots to master the con and reclaim power. As old wounds resurface and long-buried secrets unravel, the play builds to a jaw-dropping climax. Suzan-Lori Parks weaves lyrical dialogue, dark comedy, and blistering emotional truth in this searing portrait of family and fate.
