Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Giving. Learning. Developing. (G.L.D.) Foundation to Launch “Songs at Sunset” in Phoenix on March 15
The Beta Mu Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., in partnership with the Giving. Learning. Developing. (G.L.D.) Foundation, will debut Songs at Sunset, an elevated music and art experience celebrating creativity, culture, and community, on Sunday, March 15, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at CC’s On Central in Phoenix.

Designed to spotlight local talent and create a vibrant cultural gathering, Songs at Sunset will feature live musical performances, visual art, and a thoughtfully curated atmosphere that brings together artists, creatives, and the community for an unforgettable evening.
The live performance lineup includes Vaughn Willis & Ear Candy, Jonathan Levingston, Shon Kidd, Freddy Jay Walker, and Coco Watson. Featured visual artists include Kelvonnah Stidhum, Sorayyah Johnson, and Carmen Bradford.
“This is our inaugural Songs at Sunset, and we’re proud to be showcasing local Black artists and vendors while embracing the spirit of Greater Service, Greater Progress,” said Denise TrimbleSmith, Fundraising Chair for the Beta Mu Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. “This night is about celebrating talent, supporting our creative community, and building something lasting. Our goal is to make Songs at Sunset an annual tradition held each March.”
The event is open to the public and is expected to draw music lovers, art supporters, and community members from across the Valley.
