My Hair Is Beautiful Announces Two-Week Summer Camp for Youth in Phoenix on June 9-19
This June, the next generation of young beauty entrepreneurs will gather at Phoenix Center for Arts for a first-of-its-kind experience.
Created by Master Pioneer Arlette Pender, owner of HAIRLOKS by ARLETTE Natural Hair Care Salon and founder of My Hair is Beautiful 501(c)(3). Natural Hair, We Care! is a Summer Camp that offers an interactive 9-day program running from June 9 to June 19, specifically designed for youths aged 12–16.
Moving beyond simple styling, the camp bridges the gap between the science of hair and the practical skill of braiding. With a limit of 14 seats for black and biracial participants, the program ensures personalized, hands-on instruction in the health of natural hair and scalp care, as well as advanced braiding techniques.
