The Education Committee of the Maricopa County Branch NAACP invites you to its inaugural Celebration of Women Luncheon and Expo on Saturday, September 28th at 11 AM at the HOPE Center at First Institutional Baptist Church, 1141 E. Jefferson, Phoenix.
The theme is “A Village Gathering” – Empowered Women Empower Women.
In alignment with the African Proverb, “It takes a village,” the Maricopa County Branch NAACP wants to continue to empower and celebrate women who are clearing the path for the next generation. The Women’s Leadership Table will highlight women from various areas of the community who are making a difference and who serve as aspirational role models for all females.
The resource and information EXPO will start at 11 AM followed by lunch at noon. The purpose of the EXPO and Luncheon is to provide an opportunity to share empowering information and recognize women in leadership positions throughout the community.
Donation for the luncheon is $35.00 per person to support our educational initiatives. A table for eight (8) is a donation of $280.00. Your donation can be made payable to the NAACP-Maricopa County Branch and mailed to: P.O. Box 20883, Phoenix, Az. 85036.
