The Jewish Community Relations Council of Greater Phoenix (JCRC) will bring together Jewish, Muslim, Mormon, and Mass (African American) choirs for a concert event showcasing their unique musical faith traditions on Sunday, April 29 at 7PM at the Cutler Plotkin Jewish Heritage Center, 122 E Culver Street, Phoenix.
Each choir will perform a set followed by an audience-led song uniting all choirs. Dessert will be served. Tickets are $18 and can be purchased at goo.gl/DXi733.
“Music is a common bond and brings people together,” said JCRC Executive Director Karolyn Benger. “Whether we have different religious practices or views music is a ‘universal language’ connecting us. This event will bring together people of different faiths to celebrate our diversity and help unite our communities as we share this musical experience.”
