Gayle King to Receive 39th Walter Cronkite Award for Excellence in Journalism on February 21 in Phoenix
Gayle King, the award-winning co-host of “CBS Mornings,” has been chosen to receive the 39th Walter Cronkite Award for Excellence in Journalism. King, also editor-at-large of Oprah Daily, hosts a live, weekly radio show “Gayle King in the House” on SiriusXM.

The prestigious Walter Cronkite Award for Excellence in Journalism recognizes a leading figure in journalism for their contributions to the industry. The recipient list reads like a Who’s Who of the media world: Tom Brokaw, Ted Turner, Bob Woodward, Bill Moyers, Katharine Graham, Allen Neuharth, Don Hewitt, Helen Thomas, George Will, Ben Bradlee, Bernard Shaw and Roone Arledge, just to name a few.
