Former NFL Star Ray Lewis to Host Inaugural Mountain Shadows Celebrity Golf Shootout in Paradise Valley on May 3-4
Mark your calendars for the Valley’s next biggest celebrity golf tournament and philanthropy event. The Inaugural Mountain Shadows Celebrity Shootout will be held on Thursday, May 3rd and Friday, May 4th on The Short Course at Mountain Shadows Resort, located at 5445 E Lincoln Drive, Paradise Valley.
The event starts with a celebrity pairings party taking place on Thursday, May 3rd starting at 6:00pm at the Camelback Overlook rooftop deck, with tournament play starting Friday, May 4th at 8:30am.
A portions of funds raised from the tournament will benefit the Ray of Hope Foundation, a non-profit organization founded by Super Bowl MVP and 2018 Hall of Fame inductee Ray Lewis and Creator/Host of the multi-Emmy awarding show Sport Science, John Brenkus to send uplifting messages to people struggling with hardships. In addition to Lewis and Brenkus, a list of All- Star celebrities make up the roster that help with the organization’s mission to uplift those in dire need through personalized messages (“rays of hope”).
“We are so honored for The Ray of Hope Foundation to be affiliated with the Inaugural Mountain Shadows Celebrity Shootout. Thank you to the It Factor and all participants for spotlighting our mission and providing us the opportunity to send personalized, inspirational videos from an all-star roster of celebrities directly to those who are in dire need of hope in the Phoenix area,” said Lewis.
Golfers will take on The Short Course at the luxurious Mountain Shadows for a par-3 shootout in support of the great cause. This private tournament will provide golf enthusiasts and charitable supporters alike with the opportunity to host their influential partners and clients while giving them an experience unlike any other with multiple hole in one contests.
On Thursday evening at the celebrity draft party, players will walk the green carpet, mix and mingle with Valley VIPs and attendees, bid on one-of-a-kind auction items all while enjoying great food, spirits and entertainment. After the teams’ celebrity golfer has been drafted, players will have the opportunity to discuss winning strategies for tournament play Friday morning on The Short Course.
Tickets for the tournament start at $4,000 per foursome.
