ASU Library – Scanning and Oral History Day
South Mountain Community Library
7050 S 24th St, Phoenix, Arizona 85042
Latinos, African Americans, Asian Americans, and the LGBT community make up over 42% of Arizona’s population but are only represented in 0-2% of known archival collections.
Join the ASU Library to learn how to scan archival material and conduct an oral history interview!
ASU Library will offer free consultation services and scan material as time permits (50 scans max per person). People will also have the opportunity to record their story using StoryCenter Listening Stations.
This event is free and open to anyone interested in working with these under-represented communities.
