Arizona! If you love the kind of music that stirs something deep inside of your soul, you can't miss out on our February 25 concert featuring Mass Appeal recording artist Noel Gourdin!

Noel Gourdin's star has been on the rise since he released his debut album, After My Time, in 2008. Gourdin received critical acclaim for his infectious lead hit single, The River.

In April 2011, Gourdin dropped his second album, Fresh: The Definition. The first single, Beautiful, was a summer smash. In fact, PhxSoul.com has been playing the song on our Jukebox for months! In the warm heart-felt record, Gourdin takes the lead to exemplify how to respectfully address the woman that has captured his heart.

Michael's Cafe - Soul Food, Fun Atmosphere for Grown Folk in the Valley of the Sun

Finally had a chance to visit Michael's Cafe in October 2011 and judging from the crowd I saw on a Friday night, this gathering spot in central Phoenix will be here for a long time to stay.

Michael's Cafe, 5025 N. 7th Ave., Phoenix, bills itself as a soul food restaurant but the venue offers much more. It's a great place for grown, soulful folk to dance, have a few drinks, socialize and network.

The owner, Ricky Barnes, works hard to make sure that all of his patrons are having a good experience. He's lined up several different "themed" evenings including a karaoke night, First Class Fridays and Saturdays and Texas Hold'em Poker.

For more information about Michael's Cafe, call 602-248-2233 or visit:
