Letter from AZ Black Pages Publisher Urges Us to Support Our Community

This publisher's letter from Desmond Peartree of the Arizona Black Pages reminds us all about our duty to support our community!

A lot of us talk about how we need or plan to support our community!

But you know what they say .. talk is cheap!

I hope all of you who read this letter are moved to enrich our community in your own way - if you are not doing it already!

Get Involved with the Greater Phoenix Urban League Young Professionals @gphxulyp

500 Premium Business Cards only $1.99.The Greater Phoenix Urban League Young Professionals is a network of young professionals who provide leadership development, economic empowerment and community volunteer opportunities for other young professionals.

This organization usually holds its meetings on third Thursday of each month and occasionally hosts happy hour socials and fundraisers that give young minorities opportunities to network and build friendships while helping Arizonans in need.

I encourage 20- to 30-year-old African Americans in the Valley of the Sun to consider getting involved with the Greater Phoenix Urban League Young Professionals. I've attended several meetings in the past and really believe this group is on track to make a big impact here.

Visit gphxulyp.org for more information on monthly meetings and other events.
