Get Involved with the University of Arizona Black Alumni-Phoenix Club
If you are a graduate or former student of the University of Arizona, please consider getting involved with the UA Black Alumni-Phoenix organization! The group recently changed its name from "UA Black Alumni Maricopa County."
The UA Black Alumni Phoenix (UABA-Phoenix) supports the University of Arizona Alumni Association, the interests of the university, and current and future students.
The UABA-Phoenix is a great way for African American Wildcats in the Valley to connect with other and the club welcomes individuals of all races to join! The club also invites people who attended other colleges and universities to get involved!
The UABA-Phoenix hosts numerous social, fundraising and community service activities throughout the year.
The UABA-Phoenix's primary goal is to raise scholarship funds for African American high school students who intend to pursue their college education at the University of Arizona. The club relies on support from UA alumni, their families, friends and partnerships with the school and business community.
It's estimated that there are approximately 3,000 African American Wildcats in Maricopa County. I am proud to say that I'm a Wildcat! Wouldn't it be great if all of us got involved today?
