Are you motivated to improve your exercise habits?
Do want to be more physically active?
Are you 18 to 60 years old?
The School of Nutrition and Health Promotion at ASU is now recruiting participants for WalkIT Arizona, a study aiming to determine the effectiveness of physical activity monitors, goal setting, motivational text messages, monetary incentives and health education to promote physical activity behaviors.
They are seeking men and women in Maricopa County who feel inactive and want to start walking more to improve their health. By joining, participants will have the chance to earn up to $355 over the next two years in addition to increasing their physical activity. The program requires little travel and time. All participants will have access to highly innovative mobile health technologies that include wrist-worn activity monitors, text messaging to deliver physical activity goals and progress updates, and more, all at no cost.
